Session Description:
As professional organizers (and maybe business owners), every day we’re bombarded by things “to do.” We make our lists, we make our plans, but still leave so much undone. This session offers practical strategies to help you go from to-do to done. Since time management is really action management, taking control of your tasks and projects is crucial. In this session, author Casey Moore, The Productivity Coach, reveals how to manage your to-do's in ways that actually encourage you to complete them. If you are on a productivity treadmill—working hard but feeling you’re not getting anywhere—this session is for you!
We’ll cover:
Casey Moore, MA PCC CPLC CPO®, The Productivity Coach (www.CaseyMooreInc.com), helps busy professionals regain control of their work and lives. Through her book, The Productivity Chain—The Holistic Way to Spend Your Time on What Matters, workshops, webinars and individual coaching, she empowers CEOs, professionals, sales people and others to more effectively apply their time, tasks, talents, and teams to achieve greater productivity and richer quality of life. Her driving force is enabling clients to spend time on what matters to them.
Casey qualifications include:
In the event of bad weather, we will only cancel if power is out for necessary meeting managers, in which case, meeting registrants will be emailed.
Description:
Do you remember how it felt when you first glimpsed the vastness of our ethical obligations as organizing and productivity professionals? It can be intimidating to realize just how vulnerable our clients often are and how much trust and hope they put in us, and these realizations can leave us longing for more detailed ethical guidance. With a clear understanding of our ethical duties and challenges, we can give the full measure of our services to clients without accidentally crossing boundaries. In this session, we’ll review some of the most common ethical pitfalls in the organizing and productivity industry, learn the definition of a true ethical dilemma, and practice a decision-making model to work through ethical dilemmas in a reliable and, yes, organized way.
Learning Objectives
This session will help attendees to:
● recognize some of the most common ethical pitfalls in the organizing and productivity industry ● understand the definition of a true ethical dilemma ● use a decision-making model to work through ethical dilemmas
