Carl Burnett is an information technologist and professor. He was the founder and Chief Enterprise Architect for Geocode, Inc. Burnett holds numerous patents for geospatial information management technologies, and has been a member of national and international standardization bodies.
Burnett currently is an adjunct professor for Montgomery County Community College's Information Technology and Lifelong Learning Institute. He was a practitioner faculty member at Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School from 2003 - 2014. Burnett is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science in Information and Telecommunications Systems. Burnett retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, for which he served as a nuclear power systems chief warrant officer.

In the event of bad weather, we will only cancel if power is out for necessary managers, in which case, meeting registrants will be emailed.
