Join us for a tour of the Fairfax County Residents' Recycling and Disposal Center at the I-66 Transfer Station and learn how you can help your clients recycle to keep trash out of the landfill. Also, 123Junk will show us their donation pods located there. Afterwards, some of us will get together for lunch somewhere nearby.
This is a chapter members-only event.
Take a tour of the I-66 Transfer Station, which includes trash, brush, grinding, hazardous waste collection and a recycling drop-off center. The tour will take about an hour.
123Junk donation pods are located at the transfer station. They will show us how their donation process works and what kind of items they put in the pods. The tour will take about 15 minutes.

Parking is limited so it is recommended that participants carpool. GPS will not take you to the correct building. You’ll want to park in the lot on the map below by following the red line and go into the building circled in blue. Directly above is the Residents' Recycling and Disposal Center.
