About Me
I consider myself a Creative and Client Sensitive Organizer as I have both a background in the Arts and also in being an entrepreneur working to give people peace of mind. I became an Art Teacher for children K-5 for 4.5 years and then after that time the program dissolved. I found that I had a gift for communication and encouraging people to try new ideas and experiences through creativity. Creativity is important if not essential for growth and brain function and health. The balance of the right and left brain has always been one of my focuses in this life. Organizing and Decluttering is stimulating to my left brain and this is one of the reasons that I have enjoyed my training and learning thus far with NAPO University.

After having arranged and organized my mother's move from Northern California to Northern Virginia while running a pet sitting business and becoming my mom's primary caregiver I found my way to Organizing. Keeping things arranged and tidy as well as attractively accessible for people comes very naturally to me. I did not realize it at the time that I moved my mother but she was heading down the road of dementia. I have grown in my relationship with her for the last eight years by being not only her Caregiver but working with her team of Care Managers overseeing her health needs, it has been an amazing and a love and kindness focused time.

I have a particular interest thus far in helping seniors organize for the transition from their primary homes to a group community such as Independent Living all the way to Memory Care Living; this is where my own personal experience lies and where I have come see what has given my mother her greatest joy and peace of mind through dementia in her Golden Years.

I have also gotten quite a bit of training with a wonderful NAPO Certified Professional Organizer. I look forward to trying many different forms of Professional Organizing as I obtain the hours to qualify for the Certification Exam.
