We’re glad you’re considering joining the Washington, D.C. Metro chapter of NAPO. Read on to learn about the details of membership and what it costs to join.
Chapter Membership
Individuals working or considering working as organizers may join NAPO-WDC as regular chapter members. Local chapter members receive voting rights and are eligible to hold office.
Affiliate members — those living 100 or more miles outside the D.C. metro area — have voting rights but may not hold office.
**You must join NAPO at the national level before you can join NAPO Washington, DC.** Sign up here
The Membership Year and Membership Fees
The membership year starts on Oct. 1 and ends on Sept. 30 of the following calendar year. For example, the membership year that began on Oct. 1, 2007, ended on Sept. 30, 2008.
The cost of membership depends on when you join:
Regular Chapter Membership Fees

| June 1 – Sept. 30 | $55 |
Affiliate Membership Fees
Affiliate membership fees are not pro-rated. Joining as an affiliate member will cost $120 plus a $25 processing fee.
