NAPO-WDC worked with Leveling the Playing Field for its GO Month 2015 Project. Did you know that 1 in 5 underserved households are not getting their kids involved in athletics because of the rising price of sporting equipment?

Leveling the Playing Field works within the community to collect used/excess sporting equipment to ensure that every kid living in and around Washington DC/Baltimore can enjoy the benefits of athletic involvement. To date they have donated over 15,000 items impacting about 20,000 kids locally! For more information to go http://www.levelingtheplayingfield.org/

We collected donations of sports equipment prior to our GO Month event.

Items that cannot be accepted include:
large exercise equipment
football helmets
individual shirts (team amounts and shorts are welcomed)
flat-bottom shoes
hats
roller blades

LPF will also need organizational help in their new warehouse in Silver Spring MD, sports equipment displays, storage solutions for sporting equipment and general warehouse advice.
