MARCPO 2011 will conclude with closing keynote speaker Margie Warrell, her highly anticipated presentation on “Success is a Balancing Act” will leave the attendees ready to implement the lessons learned during the day. Margie Warrell is an ICF certified coach with a background in psychology and Fortune 500 business. As an expert on courage in the workplace and beyond, she is passionate about challenging both individuals and organizations to expand their vision, engage in bigger conversations and lead more courageously.

As the best-selling author of Find Your Courage: 12 Acts for Becoming Fearless in Work and in Life (McGraw-Hill 2009, USA Best Book Awards Finalist), Margie is a sought-after media guest, appearing on NBC’s The Today Show, FOX News, CNBC, Better TV and others. In addition, she was recently named “Resident Coach” for Let’s Talk Live, Washington D.C.’s daily talk show.  She has also contributed to two other books, 101 Ways to Improve Your Life and Discover Your Inner Strengths, with internationally-renowned experts including Stephen Covey, Jack Canfield, Ken Blanchard and John Gray.

Elizabeth Hagen: MARCPO 2011′s Keynote Speaker!

MARCPO 2011 will begin with opening keynote speaker, author and business coach Elizabeth Hagen.  Hagen is the author of Organize with Confidence, coauthor of Focus, Organization, and Productivity, as well as the creator of the Speak Now and Forever Get New Clients Home Study Program. Her highly anticipated keynote presentation will focus on Now is Your Time: The Steps to be Fearless and Extraordinary.

Elizabeth’s mission is to encourage, nurture, and support an environment of excellence for all those with whom she comes into contact. Elizabeth is most proud of: Being a mom to 5 incredible kids, being married over 32 years to her best friend, having a close relationship with her parents, having lived through over 55 cold winters in the Midwest, and cheering for the Vikings no matter what! She is proud of having built a successful business and going strong after 11 years, writing her several books, having spoken to thousands who now reach for more in their personal and professional lives, having survived and thrived through personal adversity and becoming a stronger person.

Elizabeth loves to speak and to speak to women who are ready for excellence and to become outstanding.  Through her speeches and workshops all across the United States, her humor, empathetic honesty, and common sense have encouraged thousands to put her proven strategies and practical tips into action to become more focused, have more momentum, more meaning, and a lot more success both at work and home.

Those in attendance will have a choice of several concurrent sessions following the opening keynote address.  The topics of discussion will offer those interested in becoming a professional organizer more insight into the industry and provide current organizers with the opportunity to potentially earn CPO® credits.  These topics include “Organizing the ADHD Brain Using Executive Functions” presented by ADHD expert and author Dr. Ari Tuckman; “Social Business 2011” as demystified by Jennifer Abernethy, America’s Business Sales Stylist/Speaker/Mentor and the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Social Media Marketing; as well as “Collabortation in Deculttering; the Organizer and the Therapist” an illumination on hoarding clients by Elspeth N. Bell, Ph.D. of the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington.  Karyn Greenstreet, owner of Passion For Business LLC, will be coaching attendees on designing effective educational workshops. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to hear Lisa Montanaro, JD, CPO® author of The Ultimate Life Organizer, explain how the law can act as a protective shield for professional organizers. The topic of organizing baby boomers through life transitions will be presented by Sue West CPO® COC® author of Organizing for a Fresh Start: Embrace the Next Chapter of Your Life.  The conference will conclude with keynote speaker, best-selling author, ICF certified coach, Margie Warrell.
